FSANZ is seeking submissions on Application A1260 2-methyloxolane as a processing aid. This application seeks to permit 2-methyloxolane as an extraction solvent processing aid. Submissions are due by 6pm (Canberra time) 20 September 2024 through the Consultation Hub.
FSANZ is seeking submissions on Application A1291 – Glucoamylase from GM Aspergillus niger (gene donor: Gloeophyllum sepiarium) as a processing aid. This application seeks to permit glucoamylase from Aspergillus niger to be used as a processing aid in brewing process, baking processes, starch processing and distilled alcohol processing. FSANZ is seeking submissions on Application A1300 – Vitamin K2 (as Menaquinone-7) as a permitted form of Vitamin K in FSMP. This application seeks to permit the use of Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone-7) as a permitted form of Vitamin K in food for special medical purposes (FSMP). FSANZ is seeking submissions on Application A1301 - Triacylglycerol lipase from GM Komagataella phaffii as a processing aid. This application seeks to permit triacylglycerol lipase from genetically modified Komagataella phaffii to be used as a processing aid in bread and bakery products. FSANZ is seeking submissions on Application A1303 - Food derived from herbicide-tolerant sugar beet line KWS20-1. This application seeks approval for the sale and use of food derived from sugar beet line KSW20-1, genetically modified to tolerate the herbicides dicamba, glufosinate and glyphosphate. Submissions are due by 6pm (Canberra time) 14 October 2024 through the Consultation Hub.
M1022 – 2023 MRL Harmonisation Proposal
FSANZ is seeking submissions on Proposal M1022 to consider varying maximum residue limits (MRLs) for residues of specific agricultural and veterinary (agvet) chemicals that may occur in food commodities. Submissions are due by 6pm (Canberra time) 29 October 2024 through the Consultation Hub.
