Listeria monocytogenes in pasteurized soft cheeses
Listeria monocytogenes in pasteurized soft cheeses A number of imported pasteurized cow’s and goat’s milk cheeses are being recalled due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled products were all produced by French manufacturer Chavegrand. FSANZ is working with state and territory food enforcement agencies and food businesses to recall affected products. Australian government authorities are also working with international counterparts to manage this issue. No cases of illness linked to these products have been reported in Australia. Consumers are advised not to eat the products listed below and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
